The site is good and booking works well. However, I am disappointed by my recent experience.

I found that approx 48 hours later the price had dropped. I was extremely surprised to see the price had changed that much in such a short space of time. I rang Expedia support expecting a refund of the difference to be given change and duration of time. The lady on the phone from India was exceptionally polite, but stated that the match price policy had ended on 31st December 2017 and there was nothing she can do.

From my perspective, there should be a grace period example even on (non-refundable bookings) where the difference should be returned to the customer if the price changes within a certain time frame (e.g. 72 hours). I understand there are other retails (be it online or high street) that have policies where they return the difference within a given time frame and would fully expect Expedia to offer something similar.

I have emailed Expedia and am hoping that it is going to the right department that can listen to customer feedback and take actions. Surely there needs to be some policy to match prices like other sites have.

It was absolutely abjectly useless.
It was clear no one from Expedia had viewed the hotel I booked.
It was inappropriate for such an establishment to be packaged with an international airline.
The after care service was hopeless no solution was offered. Just rubbish!!!!

Overall a very good service. Only problem I had was when Expedia sent me an email conferring my booking I expected it to go straight to my in box not my junk mail .

Really poor customer service! Tried to explain that one of the airlines took double payment. They wouldn’t hear of it and said airline were just holding money and I would get it back in 72 hours therefore I incurred several bank charges!

Terrible! I booked a villa in Skiathos through Expedia. The villa booking was confirmed and payment taken. I then booked flights on the strength of that only to be emailed 24 hours later saying there was a technical error and the villa was not available! The booking was cancelled and an Expedia agent told me I would get a refund within 10 Days. However this didn’t help as I know have flights and nowhere to stay?
